About JCI

J.Cloud Inc. is a construction materials recycling business founded in 1993. We are family owned and operate our recycling business from our quarry site in the Rancho San Diego area in El Cajon California. We have been a “green business” well before it was trendy. Our family has had roots in El Cajon since 1942.

We have been instrumental in the acceptance of “green” recycled rock and sand by local City and County agencies. When we began crushing and recycling the concrete and asphalt, its only use was for Class II road base. We believed that there were better uses for recycled rock than just road base so we set out to get our recycled rock approved by local agencies. We soon discovered that the best way for us to keep our recycled rock in spec was to wash it. By washing it, we were the first recycle operation it San Diego County to have recycled rock approved for use by the City of Chula Vista, City of San Diego, County of San Diego and the City of La Mesa. We have since had our recycled sand approved for use by many local agencies including Sempra Energy.

We now produce a green environmentally friendly washed recycled ¾” and 3/8” rock, washed recycled S.E. 50 and 70 sand. We also produce dry screened S.E. 30 and 50 sand along with SDG&E sand and screened fill dirt. See Product price sheet for all materials.

Why are we a “Green Business”?

We are a Green business because J.Cloud Inc recycles in excess of 200,000 tons of inert construction debris (concrete and asphalt) that would otherwise find it’s way to the local landfills. The recycling of concrete and asphalt separates the rock and sand and allows for other uses of the products. The recycled products reduce the need for virgin rock and sand which adds life to the local quarries and additionally reduces the need for imported materials.
